The Podimo Group (hereinafter "the Group") is Europe’s leading podcasting platform, home to award-winning exclusive originals, audiobooks, and podcasts with over 1.25 million subscribers and delivering over 700 curated episodes a month. Offering premium entertainment through a seamless experience, Podimo combines end-to-end production powered by innovative technology and a creator-first model that rewards creators for producing exceptional content that engages and entertains audiences. The Group operates an integrated entertainment platform serving paying subscribers across seven markets in Europe and Latin America, comprising Denmark, Germany, Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, Finland, and Mexico. The Group's registered office is in Copenhagen, Denmark, where it was founded in 2019. The Group's business model is founded on three principles; subscription-based revenue, monetisation of proprietary content catalogue through open access distribution and creator partnerships alongside offering advertising solutions following the acquisitions of Podads, Dag en Nacht Media and Tonny Media. Revenue is generated primarily through recurring monthly and annual subscriber fees. During the financial year, the Group achieved a significant operational milestone: the number of paying subscribers globally surpassed one million in the first quarter of 2025, as publicly announced by the Group on 24 February 2025. This represents a material development in the Group's commercial trajectory and reflects continued execution of its international expansion strategy. The Group's growth during the financial year was supported by, among other factors: the continued investment in local-language content and creator partnerships; platform development innovation resulting in materially increased user engagement; and the integration of strategic acquisitions completed in prior periods, including Dag en Nacht Media, Tonny Media, and PodAds, each of which has contributed to the Group's content pipeline and revenue capabilities. The Management Board considers the Group's business model to be scalable and resilient across diverse cultural and linguistic markets. The Group's ability to generate subscriber revenue at materially higher rates per user than advertising only-based alternatives, alongside our proprietary technology and innovative user experience has been identified as key competitive differentiators and is central to the Group's long-term value creation strategy.
