Business reviewZevra Denmark A/S \(the Company\) is a subsidiary of Zevra Therapeutics, Inc. \(the parent\), a U.S.based commercial-stage therapeutics company. Zevra Therapeutics, Inc. \(Massachusetts, USA\) became a public traded company on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange as of 7 January 2021. Zevra Denmark A/S is a therapeutics company focused on bringing life-changing therapeutics to people living with rare diseases. The Company’s main asset includes arimoclomol, an orally delivered product for the treatment of Niemann-Pick disease type C \(NPC\), which has been granted approval as a treatment for NPC by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration \(FDA\) and is commercialized under the brand name MIPLYFFA in the U.S. The Company has licensed the rights to commercialize the drug worldwide to Zevra Therapeutics, Inc. Following the U.S. approval of MIPLYFFA in September 2024, the Company has transitioned from a development-stage entity to a royalty-generating entity. Under the license agreement entered into with its parent company, the exclusive rights to commercialize MIPLYFFA have been transferred, and the Company is entitled to receive royalty income based on net sales. MIPLYFFA is currently being commercialized in the United States by Zevra Therapeutics, Inc. following its approval by the FDA as a treatment for NPC. In Europe, arimoclomol has received orphan medicinal product designation from the European Medicines Agency \(EMA\), and a Marketing Authorization Application \(MAA\) has been submitted. The product is currently under regulatory review. Patients may access the treatment through expanded access programs in certain countries pending regulatory approval
