The result turned to profit in 2025: the annual report shows profit after tax of DKK 425,000, compared with a loss of DKK 3,738,000 in 2024. Operating profit was DKK 1.1 million in 2025, compared with DKK -2.1 million in 2024. Management states that more than half of the company’s capital has been lost and expects equity to be restored through future operations; the report also says the company is supported by its shareholder.

Ownership changed on 30 June 2026: IMARTUNEQ TRAWL A/S became the direct owner of 100% of the company, after POLAR SEAFOOD GREENLAND A/S and the two previous individual owners ceased to be legal owners. Before that, Polar Seafood Greenland held 50–66.66% from 5 December 2024 to 30 June 2026. The current ownership structure continues through Polar Seafood Greenland, which is 50–66.66% owned by Miki Jonas Brøns, 20–24.99% by Bent Friis-Salling, and 20–24.99% by Laila Friis-Salling; these three stakes have applied since 1 October 2025. SISA has also held 5–9.99% of Polar Seafood Greenland since that date.

The company’s former name was FISKERISELSKABET AF 1. JULI 2014 ApS until 15 September 2014. It was registered at 3952 Ilulissat from its establishment on 1 July 2014 until 8 June 2021, and has since been registered at Imaneq 24, 3900 Nuuk.
