Description

FREA A/S operates a fully recirculated, land-based trout production facility in Sønder Felding, Denmark. Operating since 2014, it produces over 2,000 tonnes of fish annually across two 4,000 m² buildings.

FREA produces rainbow trout, fry, and fingerlings in a land-based recirculating aquaculture system. It sells fry and fingerlings to fish farmers across Denmark and Europe and fish to processing companies for human consumption.
