The purpose of establishing the Company is to conduct business within the environmental and energy sector including related activities, research and advisory.Orsted New Bio Solutions Holding A/S has 3 subsidaries in Denmark.On 16 December 2024, Renescience A/S \(the subsidiaty of the Company\) entered into a Share Purchase Agreement for the sale of its subsidiaries, Ørsted Renescience Northwich Ltd. and Ørsted Renescience Northwich O&M Ltd. The transaction was completed on 31 October 2025. A key term of the agreement required the subsidiaries to be sold on a debt-free basis. To satisfy this condition, Ørsted New Bio Solutions Holding A/S made an additional capital contribution to Renescience A/S prior to closing. Consequently, a significant impairment was recognised on this investment to reflect the impact of the transaction in the Annual Report.
