Selskabets væsentligste aktiviteter har i lighed med sidste år været udvikling af forretningskritiske softwareløsninger til energistyring ud fra elpriser, estimeret elforbrug og elproduktion. Med frigivelsen af selskabets BRP & VPP Controller varetager SoftControl nu selv rollen som balanceansvarlig (BRP) på de nordiske systemydelsesmarkeder, og selskabets værdikæde strækker sig nu fra det enkelte asset hos kunden til transmissionssystemoperatøren (TSO).
