Risks and material matters

Recognition or measurement uncertainty

The measurement of the deferred tax asset is subject to inherent uncertainty, primarily relating to the reliability and timing of forecasted future taxable income. The valuation depends on management's assumptions regardingfuture business performance, market conditions, and operational developments. As with all forward-looking estimates, actual results may differ from current forecasts, which could result in adjustments to the deferred tax asset in future periods as circumstances evolve. Management has applied a prudent approach in recognising the portion of tax value for which realisation is reasonably assured based on available evidence and forecasts.
