Company's own description on virk.dk
Unumed A/S develops and delivers a digital health platform with a primary focus on Health management systems(HMS) for healthcare institutions in emerging markets and select Western regions. The cloud-native platform integrates clinical, administrative, and financial workflows into a unified, scalable, and highly customizable solution. Growing footprint and platform adoption Unumed continues to strengthen its position as a digital infrastructure provider for hospitals in emerging healthcare systems. Today the platform supports: • 52 hospitals currently live • 5 additional hospitals preparing to go live Usage across the platform continues to expand rapidly. To date, the system has supported more than 1,6 million registered patients, 2,5 million visits, 17,1 million clinical orders, with 7,300+ registered users and more than 1,160 daily active users. This level of operational activity provides strong validation of the platform’s reliability and real-world value to healthcare providers. Commercial progress and pipeline Commercial traction remains strong. We currently have 32 signed customer contracts and a pipeline of 32 additional opportunities. Total Contract Value has now reached $1.4M, representing 30% growth over the past two years, while Annual Recurring Revenue has increased 50% within the last year. Our strongest private-sector momentum continues to come from Ghana, where our local partner has become increasingly autonomous in driving the sales process and closed several contracts during 2025. At the same time, we are seeing meaningful progress in the public sector, particularly in Zimbabwe. The pilot implementation at Chitungwiza Hospital demonstrated strong results, including a seven-fold increase in cash revenue at the hospital, and has now opened the door to potential contracts with several large national hospitals. If successful, these could become the foundation for broader national digital health deployments, and large-scalefinancial deals. Product and technology evolution Over the past year we have also focused heavily on strengthening the platform architecture and product development processes. This includes improvements to testing and development workflows, infrastructure automation, stronger authentication systems, expanded API capabilities, and early work on AI-driven analytics and conversational data tools. These changes are part of a broader shift from simply scaling the platform to building a more robust, enterprise-grade product capable of serving larger hospital systems and national health infrastructures. Strategic priorities for 2026 Looking ahead, our focus this year centers on three main areas: 1. Securing funding to scale the business, while strengthening our investor outreach and exploring grant-based funding opportunities. 2. Positioning Unumed as a key component of the digital health ecosystem, through deeper integrations, partnerships, and expanded API capabilities. 3. Developing alternative positioning and revenue streams beyond SaaS, including data-driven services, integrations, and a potential marketplace for third-party health applications. At the same time, we will continue to prioritize hospital implementations, strengthen our presence in core markets, and pursue large public-sector opportunities where our technology can have system-level impact. The value of capitalized development projects of DKK 28,7 m (2024: DKK 24,4 m) is dependable on future growth and earnings. Based upon the development in sales in 2025 and outlook for 2026 being based largely upon future contracts and partnerships yet to materialize there is deemed to be a material uncertainty related to the value of capitalized development projects. To support the Companys activities on their current level, the Company is dependt on the realization of sales budgets, further capital injections from investors or other sources of incoming cash (grants, loans etc.). At the date of approval of the annual report, several positive dialogues with both investors, loan providers and commercial partners are in process. Based on this Management feel confident that the needed financing as well as successful execution of the sales targets can be achieved – and based on this, Management have prepared the Annual Report for 2025 as going concern. To finance its business activities for the remaining part of 2026 the Company has secured pledges for capital injections totalling 5,8 mDKK from current Investors. The company's balance sheet as of 31 December 2025 shows equity of -47.436 thousand DKK, and management has consequently determined that over 50% of the company's capital has been lost. Management is aware of its responsibility to ensure that the company's capital resources are adequate at all times.
