Description
MedicQuant is a spin-out from the Gothelf Lab at iNANO, Aarhus University, Denmark, developing a proprietary, patent-pending DNA nanotechnology platform for precise measurement of small molecules and a point-of-care system for quantifying small-molecule drugs in blood.
MedicQuant develops disposable cartridge-based diagnostic assays and a fluorescence reader system that measure small-molecule drug concentrations directly from whole blood in approximately 10 minutes. The assays are currently being developed for anticoagulants, with proof of concept demonstrated for antibiotics, anticancer drugs, and antirheumatic drugs.
